BEST moving experience ever!!! The four-men crew arrived early wasted no time and dove right in. They truly have the art of moving down to a science. I was amazed at how quickly these guys moved and how well they worked together–it was textbook perfect teamwork! They seem to have a system formulated, a sort of assembly line formation that just made the move feel effortless and stress-free from beginning to end!!!

We recently moved with Northstar and had the most amazing experience. Jimmy and his crew were fast, efficient and kind. They worked from the moment they got there and were very good about doing everything we needed to get moved from our old place to our new one. I would recommend them to all of my friends. Everything was in perfect condition and they even helped us put our furniture back together.

I used Northstar in 2006 and they did a great job. As a result, I used them again in 2011. Although I’m not looking forward to moving again, the next time I need to move, I will call them again.

I used NorthStar for my move from L.A. to San Francisco. They were very professional, communicated with me about everything in advance. In addition, their estimate was exactly what it cost. I didn’t have any damage to any of my items including art work, furniture, and crystal. The team was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend using them.

Ron wrote our estimate and gave us peace of mind with a not-to-exceed estimate.  The movers themselves we’re very professional and efficient.  

I contrast this experience to using Starving Students last fall in which the cost ended up being $600 more and we had less furniture.  In addition, NorthStar doesn’t charge extra for basic wrapping and furniture protection.

I would definitely use them again in the future and can’t stress enough how clear and upfront the entire experience was.

This is the second time in two years we’ve used North Star’s moving services and it just keeps getting better!! We were lucky enough to get the same service rep we had last time (Ted) and he remembered everyting about us and our last move! No need to repeat our “moving story” – he instantly got it and siad “what can we do to help?” Not only is North Star extremely professional but they show up on time and do exactly what they’re supposed to do – pack, move and place anything where you need it to be – with patience & efficiency. Our movers last week were Jorge Hernadez Dalybanez Callejas; both curteous, knowledgeable and extremely helpbul!! We give North Star Moving in Los Angeles 5 stars – undoubtedly, one of the best movers I’ve ever worked with and that includes over 25 years of being transferred with the federal government – thanks North Star!!!

This was hands down the best moving experience I’ve had in 12 years. George and his crew showed up on time, loaded my belongings in 1 hour 30 minutes, and finished promptly. There is a long set of stairs leading down to my house, about 40 steps, and they handled it with no problem. They also offered to take away trash that was left-over from opening boxes. Overall, very professional, very nice people, and hard workers. Thanks Northstar!
