The letter is sent to express our pleasure with the move of our home from Brentwood to Valenicia.
First the trucks were clean and nicely painted. The movers’ shirts with company emblems added a touch of class. The big thing was the care and concern demonstrated by Moshe, Taz, Ran and Shai. The personalities of these fine young men made it a delightful experience.

This note is a little late, but I wanted to write and thank you for the excellent move (and storage) which I had with your company.
I moved out of my house in Los Angeles on Dec. 17th and moved into my new house in Palm Desert on February 1st. On both ends of the move, the guys were extremely helpful, professional, and efficient. They were wonderful to work with. And there were no problems at all with the storage.
It is also a tribute to the movers and your company that not one single item in the approx. 8,000 lbs. I had was broken or marred!

Last summer your company moved furniture and personal belongings of my wife, Eileen N. Herzog, from our former residence which was located at 104 Skipjack Lane, Foster City, CA 94404. For several months you stored her goods and then you sent them to her in Seaford, East Sussex, England. I am writing to report that her goods arrived in good order, and within a reasonable time. She has asked that I convey to you that she is highly pleased with your services. In particular, she was gratified by the patient, helpful, and informative work done by a man named Rom, (last name unknown). I am now winding down my career, and shall retire in two months. At present, all my furniture and goods are in storage in Foster City. However, upon retirement I will move myself and my goods to England, to rejoin my wife. I, too, had occasion to speak to Rom a number of times, and I heartily concur in my wife’s view that he’s tops. I would like to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to you and your team at North Star! I recently was moved from Los Angeles to San Francisco at the recommendation of Jeanmarie Smith. She had told me that I would receive excellent service, but that is an understatement.
My experience began with you and our discussion on the phone. You were extremely courteous, and explained the steps you would take to evaluate and quote a price for my move. A date was set and Mr. Gadi Avigzer was assigned to the meeting. Mr. Avigzer was not only thorough, I found him to be kind, courteous and sensitive to my concerns. Moving is never an easy process but Gadi assured me that I would have a smile on my face the day I was moved out of my home in L.A. and also on the day I was moved into my home in S.F. He was right!
I must tell you that I, of course, I received other quotes. Although yours was higher by almost $1000.00, you were also going to provide a service level that warranted the extra cost. I chose your company not only because of the superior customer service, but also because of the way that you would pack and handle the contents.
My situation was unique for me. I was moving a fully furnished two-bedroom home into a fully furnished two-bedroom home. My husband and i have had separate residences and so we not only were going to have your team move our contents into the house, but also assist us with moving some contents from the SF home into our basement.
Your packing team was also very efficient and kind. Their care with my contents and with me was exceptional. The loading and unloading appeared to be seamless despite the great number of stairs that they had to navigate.
I know that this is probably an every day story for you. I, on the other hand, was new to the moving game, and had very specific expectations and requirements. Gadi and your moving team made the experience very positive.
I am now settled in my new home and want to thank all of you at North Star for making my move successful and painless!

On Saturday December 2nd, I moved from a fairly large size house to a much smaller condo. I was concerned about being able to fit certain items into the new place especially since the stairways are fairly narrow. I employed your service to help with the move and you sent Justin and another young man for the job. I want to let you know wast an excellent job they did. With Justin’s leadership they wrapped all of my furniture so there was no way it could be damaged and they loaded the truck in a very professional manner. When we arrives at the condo they unloaded everything and made everything fit through the narrow doorways and stairways. This even involved lifting a big screen TV over a five foot block wall. I am convinced that t they could fit an elephant through an eye of a needle. The best part of all of this is that they remained friendly and fun to be with through the entire day.
I truly believe that these two men are a credit and an asset to your company. I wanted to share this with you because I do believe that they should be acknowledged for the good job they did.

Having to work alone on this project, as I am a recent widow I had many emotional and critical decisions to make this move go smoothly and in a cost effective manner. I met with three different companies, yours being one of the three. It was actually the kindness and helpfulness of Gadi that made me decide to go with North Star. Gadi took the time and exhibited so much patience as he explained the process and answered every one of my questions. I had the great the fortune of becoming reacquainted with an old friend of mine, Joe Isaacs, which allowed me to be turned on to the services of Northstar Moving Co. I was interviewing a number of moving companies, but based on my knowledge and respect for Joe as person and friend I chose Northstar.
The three movers on the Northstar crew (crew chief Omri, Jose and Doron) arrived in a timely fashion and proceeded to work diligently throughout the day at my house. they were kind, smart, motivated, and my neighbors and I enjoyed them there.
