This is the company I recommend to anyone moving in the Bay Area. They are incredibly professional, have fair rates, and are the only company I’d trust to pack my valuable furniture items. They were really fast at packing up, made sure to triple wrap anything valuable, they were really clean in taking any excess packaging with them and made sure to protect the floors and walls of our apartment. Our storage unit was tight but they were basically Tetris masters in making sure everything fit but was also safe for storage in the way it was placed. Definitely reach out to them for a quote if you are moving in the Bay Area!
Storage
Just had our furniture moved from storage into our new home by NorthStar. We chose them based on reviews but still worried a little about how it was going to go. Austin, Kyle, and Tico were fantastic. They arrived and got started on time. The 3 of them worked really well together. Two moved things up into the truck and Tico put everything together in the truck like an amazing 3-D puzzle. Austin and Kyle were very careful with everything and took special precautions with a few delicate family treasures and we ended up with nothing broken, scratched or damaged. We had everything wrapped in plastic while in storage and they removed it from every piece before taking them into the house. They removed feet from a chair to get it through a tight squeeze. They took doors off hinges to make room to get things through. They were careful to keep things clean. And best of all they got our entire house in and set up in less time than we expected.
All I can say is you got to use NorthStar Moving the next time you move. We will!
My husband and I moved from a condo to a home in the SF Valley. We needed our things stored for a week as well and North Star did an amazing job! Our crew led by Alex was efficient, friendly, and professional on both ends. They took great care of our things in loading and unloading and I was really impressed with the service. I would highly recommend them to any friend looking to move!
Northstar Moving Company in Phoenix is a great moving company! We had several issues with our house sale and moving and they were able to work with us on being flexible to accomodate our closing/moving dates. Austin Bastian (team leader), Hamdi Lachaal, Adam Derr and David Camargo did an excellent job packing our belongings, loading and unloading into our storage units. We will be requesting the same team to load, transport and unload into our new home in a couple of weeks. They all were very careful, and took the time needed to get the job done right. They all are very friendly and courteous. They all wore masks while in our home. David – The coordinator, also is excellent! He is an excellent communicator. If you are on the fence about moving companies choose NorthStar! You won’t be sorry!!!
The Northstar team led by Juan, arrived on time, and quickly got to work. I’m glad I hadn’t fully wrapped all my larger pieces of furniture as they all did a much better job than I could have done (even though I think I think I’m pretty good, lol). My stuff was going into long-term storage, and they did a really good job getting everything into my storage unit. Overall, probably my best moving experience ever. Highly recommend Northstar!

Teddy, Juan, Abel, moved my parents out of their apartment today. They did an excellent job, they were quick, courteous, and very careful with our furniture and other items. We did a move from their apartment to a storage unit of limited space. They stacked things in a way only the best would know how to. I have used NorthStar Three times before this move and will continue to use them for service like these three guys gave today.

The guys did a great job. I moved from a studio office / loft downtown into a storage unit in Culver City and it went perfectly. I had a bunch of heavy tables and furniture, but also some expensive computers, TVs and artwork. It was all wrapped up safely and quickly. The best part was that they figured out how to fit my whole office into a 10×10 storage unit – I wasn’t sure it was possible. Highly recommend and I’ll use them again.
Absolutely our best move ever! From beginning to end, the experience was great. I reached out on-line and chatted with Alma on what we needed. She was friendly and professional and great with responses. She even offered a discount on the trip fee. Excellent customer service! We booked about a month out and received a confirmation call a few days before we moved. I requested as close to 8am as possible in the window of 8-10am I was given. Our first box was moved at 8:30am. Our one bedroom apartment moved into a storage unit was 4 hours flat with an elevator at each location. They were on time, very friendly and professional. Our items were expertly arranged in our storage unit and we had plenty of room to spare when I was initially concerned everything might not fit. We’ve moved A LOT in Phoenix and Bryce Dailey and Matthew Neri were rockstars! Highly recommend!
I had NorthStar help with my move today. It was a little complicated because I was moving stuff out of my house to a consignment store, and out of my parent’s house to both my house and to the consignment store. From the very beginning of my search for the right mover, Gabriella was great. She was very responsive and answered all of my questions quickly and clearly,making sure I got the best rate (it varied by day, so I was able to choose a lower rate day). Also, their rate was $10/hr less than any other quote I got and it was for THREE movers, when everyone else’s quote was for only TWO. The 3 guys that came, were great…(Reginald, Arthur and Eric). They were incredibly cordial and professional. They took great care to ensure that each piece was very carefully wrapped and protected. I would highly recommend this company, as well as (specifically) these 3 gentlemen if you are contemplating a local move. Great job, NorthStar!! Thank you!
