I had a fantastic move with NorthStar Moving Company. Everything was moved quickly and efficiently and the movers were incredibly helpful and accommodating even with elevator delays from my buildings.

I initially chose this moving company last year to help move my father from one Assisted living facility to another and I was extremely impressed with their competence, timeliness, and friendly demeanor. So, I called them again for my major move out of the house I’d been living in for 10 years and into a new home. Once again, they were spot on! They completely reduced my anxiety and stress, they didn’t make me feel like my objects were a hassle to move and they continually checked in with me to see how I was feeling! I would DEFINITELY recommend this company to anyone moving, whether it’s a large job or a small one, they make sure it gets done right!!!
I had to pack up everything in a 3 bedroom house plus living and dining room in San Mateo and was really happy to have found NorthStar… all the communication prior to the move day was extremely clear and responsive (shout out to Stephanie), and on the day of the big move, Miguel and his crew were fantastic. The worked hard and efficiently from the moment they arrived and were conscientious about everything. They helped me pack things into storage too, thank you to the team again for fitting everything into one locker! I highly recommend them and plan to reach out for my summer cross country move.

I used NorthStar on a recent move and I’m so glad that I did. They showed up right on time and called when they were an hour out to tell me they were coming. They arrived with an extra person and let me know that the extra mover would be no charge. The 4 men packed up and moved me so quickly! They were super nice and great to work with. I will definitely use this moving company again in the future! Super affordable and great team.
We recently called them for moving services. Stephanie did a great job in listening to our needs and scheduling the move. The movers came right on time. As we all know, moving can be very stressful, but let me tell you all about King Arthur, Richard and Kevin, these guys knocked it out of the park.
From the moment I spoke with Stephanie Haver on the phone, to the minute that Arthur, Richard and Kevin showed up at my house, things went smoothly.
Usually I spend a lot of time repeating myself and explaining everything that needs to be moved or how it needs to be moved, but not with this crew. These gentlemen showed up on time, with smiles and lots of energy and professionalism.
I didn’t need to hover around them and make sure that things were done properly, because not a single item was dented, scratched or broken.

We had a long distance move from Los Angeles to Austin Texas and NorthStar was able to help with a last minute change when another mover tried to double their quote. They showed up next day on time, were friendly and professional and moved our goods to Austin without a hitch. Will definitely use them again!
Wow! I could not be more impressed with Northstar. Hard working and professional movers. Alex, Nickolas and Jason were are personable and pleasant on top of everything else. Never a negative comment despite having to carry heavy furnature up 3 flights of steps. Hire them. You won’t be disappointed!
