This was our first time hiring movers and we were a bit nervous. We checked with a few companies, but finally settled on NorthStar primarily because the price was right and the reviews were good. And we are so glad we did! The crew, Daniel, Arie and Elias were amazing! My boyfriend and I would definitely request the same crew for our next move. They were efficient, professional and hard working. They worked together well and got the job done very fast.
Also, the other companies we checked with made a big deal about the fact that the apartment we were moving out of was on the second floor with 3 flights of stairs and about 50 yards of sidewalk to the truck. But with NorthStar and this crew it didn’t even come up. There were no complaints or remarks, they just got the job done and were pleasant the whole time.
We would definitely recommend them to anyone.

As an interior designer I get lots of odd “projects” thrown at me when least expected – this was a big one…
I had 24 hours notice to move the entire contents from a model home in Los Feliz to another building in Korea Town. A friend had recommended Northstar to me once long ago, but hadn’t had a need for them until yesterday.
I called and was transferred to Ted as my rep, who was fantastic and extremely helpful. I expressed the urgency and he got me booked for 8AM this morning. Even though I was given a window of “8AM to 10AM,” knowing I was desperate my phone rang promptly at 8AM announcing the movers.
I was greeted by Ran, who is now my one and only mover. Again, RAN AND HIS CREW ARE AMAZING! Organized, motivated, and helpful, Ran made for me what could have been something overwhelming into an absolute breeze – he and his crew went far beyond the call of duty for me and I couldn’t be more appreciative of his efforts.
Overall pricing I thought was very fair considering we were transferring an entire household from one location to another, but the service itself was priceless.
If you want excellent service, expert and careful moving with a friendly, fun and helpful crew, call Northstar and ask for Ran and his crew – you can’t ask for better!

They were actually were supposed to just pack everything, but right now everything is empty and it’s 4 o’clock in the afternoon but I know they said that I am working with the best team and I must say they are extremely efficient and fantastic guys to work with.

Hi I am Christopher from the Mark Company we just got done having Joel, is that right? And his crew from NorthStar Moving helping us and they did a fantastic job, they went over and above of what we asked, anything we asked they just jumped right in and did it, got it done fast, we were very pleased.
I have moved 3 times in the last 3 years! This is the first time i used NorthStar Moving and i am a customer for life. They were on time (even early) and very very nice. You have to ask for Guy Hacyma as your foreman. He was professional and kind and made sure it was all taken care of. The 2 other moved (forgot names…sorry) were excellent. They took care of my things and packed everything up so that nothing at all was damaged or broken. They were fast, reliable, and i will use them again. Moving can be a stressful time and these guys made it an easy day.
I didn’t know what to expect, hiring movers and I expected it to be expensive and expected that I have to keep hunting down the workers to making sure they kept working and I was very pleased with NorthStar Moving. Joel and his crew did an excellcent job, they took very good care of furnitue , they showed up early, which was great and kept working straight through until everything was finished. Couldn’t have gone any better, much better if I had my friends come and help me.
Hello I am very happy with NorthStar Moving especially with Joel and his crew his leadership was outstanding. Made us feel very comfortable from the beginning, very enthusiastic and accommodating and resourceful as well. When he finds a problem he always finds a good solution for.
So, having moved here and there five times in the last four years, I know me some moving, and I have to give Northstar five stars, because both times I used them, I was so happy with their service I wanted to cry. And the other two times I used someone else, I was so furious I wanted to cry.
Omar and his two guys, Alfonso and another gentleman, were on time, very professional, not slow, and did not overestimate time, mileage, tape usage, anything like that. They even pointed out the piece of furniture that the other movers had broken, and treated it with tender loving care.
This past move, in May 2009, was just across town in LA, but the previous time was from SoCal to NorCal, and both times I had no complaints whatsoever. The guys coming toNorthern California even stood in the bushes and on a fence and hoisted my oversized sofa up and over the balcony when it wouldn’t fit in the door. My new neighbors watched in amazement because they didn’t have to do that, but they did.
I guess that’s what makes them good, they get the job done, even if the elevator door has to be held open, or if the sofa’s too big, or if a box starts to fall apart – they handle it professionally!
And Northstar Movers came to town when they said they would. I never realized that movers can be so irresponsible as to arrive with your stuff days, even weeks, after the promised time.

I have been a customer of Northstar four times and have been a repeat customer because of their customer service, attention to detail, their reliability, and most of all their staff. This has included intra-state moving and across country moves. While many of my friends complain about their movers being late or keeping them waiting all day, Northstar is ON TIME – and in fact, sometimes even early! This week was my most recent move had the Team leader/foreman – Guy Hacyma along with Ricardo and Jose who were superb. They handled both my pick up and delivery and this move was smooth going from beginning to end. Ran and Andre in the SFV headquarters were excellent at making the arrangements and communicating and made my move happen on time.
Without a doubt, I would recommend Northstar, Guy, Ran, Andre and the entire team – you will be very thankful you did. Moving and relocating is already a stress-filled experience. I had the moving company, NorthStar Moving move for me and they did a great job, an incredible job, in fact my wife has been commenting on all morning on what kind of great packing job they did and far as the unloading goes with Noel, Jesus and Rodolfo, it was just great.
