We had what felt like a relatively complicated move. We were moving 2 studio apartments into a 2BR/2BA. We also had some issues in one of the building where the elevator was out of service the day we were moving. Carlos, Leo, and Nacho were personable and upbeat the entire time, and swiftly got us loaded and unloaded, and explained any custom situation to us so we understood what was going on. Would definitely recommend.

Teddy and nick and Jason were absolutely phenomenal. I believe this is my fourth time using North Star moving. Moving is always a pain but these guys always make it a breeze. They are Nice people and take the stress away by doing the heavy lifting (pun intended). Especially among covid it is really tough to feel safe. The guys wore masks and respected the 6ft rule. They were fast and punctual and handled everything with care. I was moving pretty far and their moving truck got to the destination on time. Even the booking process is thorough and efficient. They confirm on time and make sure everything is good. I cannot recommend them more- I mean this is my 5th time using them I believe and if I ever move again i will be giving them a call. They just do everything to a science and their team of 3 always delivered. Thanks guys!

Called North Star about 10 days before our move and they scheduled us at our requested time. They showed up exactly at the beginning of the time window. 3 movers took care of our 3 bedroom house and moved us about 45 mins away all within 5 hours. Worked quickly and efficiently and did all the literally heavy lifting with no complaint. Handled fragile stuff and brought all the necessary supplies including wardrobe boxes. No dragging their feet to add extra time and not one thing was damaged. Our new place has lots of stairs and no complaints from the guys at all. They wore masks at all times and were extremely professional. Absolutely would use again.

I been moving around in the Los Angeles county quite a lot, i’m using Northstar moving for all my needs like full packaging and moving around the city, I highly recommend Northstar moving.

This is the third time I hired Northstar for my move, and as always they were professional, fast, and took good care of my stuff.

My entire experience with Northstar was the least stressful part about moving! I was able to video chat with Gil to give him an idea of what they’d be moving which was ideal during these unfortunate times(COVID-19). It was quick and and he was very nice, immediately confirming via email thereafter. Now for the stars of the show…my “Dream Team” which consisted of 3 amazing men; Nicolas Lopolo the Foreman, Francisco Gonzalez and Bryan R.! They were extremely efficient, ridiculously fast and never skipped a beat. It doesn’t hurt that they were welcoming and easy to talk to. They went above and beyond and were so helpful. They even took the time to figure out how to remove my huge couch when it seemed almost impossible to get it out without damage! My friends and family couldn’t believe how well they worked, like a well oiled machine as my father said! If you’re in the process of moving (and we all know what a pain that is) don’t hesitate to contact Northstar. Please request  Nicolas, Francisco and Bryan though…they will NOT disappoint! I miss them already!

I posted a previous review about some problems that I had with Northstar but I think the best way to know how good a company is, is how they handle problems.  And let me tell you, Wendy De Paola is a definitely a problem solver when something goes wrong at Northstar.  After she talked to some people in the company, she was able to handle my problem and turned me from someone who was very disappointed to true fan.  And once this initial glitch was all handled the movers did an amazing job in both packing some items, dealing with the horrible parking on some busy streets of San Francisco, to finally setting stuff up everything in my new apt.  The people at Northstar are truly an amazing team.

I am so glad I chose Northstar for my move on 6/27. Over my lifetime, I have moved more than a dozen times and have used all the regional/national movers. Northstar, by far, is the best moving company I have ever used. Shout-out to Teodor, Juan and Nicholas, for the best team ever! These guys were professional, polite and friendly and quickly put me at ease. They were machines; non-stop through-out the long, hot day and they took very good care of my belongings. I had about 70 boxes and some large, heavy pieces of furniture; they never once complained. They were careful and efficient and helped set-up my new apartment. Not one nick, scratch or damage to anything-I’m so impressed. I highly recommend Northstar Moving!

This was big move for us – we had lived in our house for 19 years!  On the day of our move, the Northstar Moving Company team arrived promptly at 8am.  Austin Bastian was our lead mover and he treated us (and our possessions) with care and concern. His team included Hamdi, Noah, and Shanon and they were hardworking and friendly. We were pleased with the move and I would definitely recommend Austin Bastian and his great team!

Today we had a crew from northstar help us move and everything went extremely smoothly. They were very professional and packed everything safely. We were able to fully move out from the old place and move back into the new place super quickly. All in all my family was very satisfied with the service. We had so much packed up on the day of our move but we didn’t realize how much we didn’t do to properly prepare for the move .

Northstar came in and knocked out our move in a jiffy while being so careful and efficient. We are thankful for their wonderful team to make our move 100% easier!

These guys have always been great. Teddy, Juan, Alexis were absolutely the best. They were on time. Quick. Safe. Kept our stuff safe. Teddy was a beast and lifted a 200lbs elliptical down a flight of stairs. We’ve also used north star for about 7 moves and every time has worked great. We’ve done crazy moves like going to 2 or 3 places a day, or like today, storage then a walk up then another place in glendale. They are up front about their rates and friendly on the phone. I can’t recommend using them highly enough.

I was REALLY nervous about moving during the time of COVID. This was exacerbated when my trusted moving company called me the week of our move to cancel as a portion of their company had become sick with Coronavirus.

With no time to spare I called Northstar and they sent Brian, Francisco, Luis… and their fearless foreman Nicolas.

I have moved A LOT… these guys were awesome. They were fast, careful, powerful, friendly and packed the trucks like a game of Tetris.

Moving during COVID-19 is bound to be stressful. I called NorthStar after my original moving company had to cancel due to a positive COVID case. Fortunately they were able to accommodate me on a tight time-line. I moved from a 1-bedroom to a 2-bedroom with very limited space. I was very happy with the service received from Alex and the 2 other movers he brought along. They came on time, listened to me, and helped with anything I needed. Most importantly, all my furniture was wrapped in plastic to avoid damage to either the furniture or the floors. I was very concerned that they avoid damaging the wood floors of my place, and they accommodated me by putting a small runner down before moving the furniture in. They were even very accommodating since I asked them to pack my dishes and other kitchen appliances (microwave, toaster). Most importantly, they were real troopers with the difficulties of the move, including the steep stairs, and when the elevator disappointingly broke right after we arrived at the destination. They carried all my furniture up 4 flights of emergency exit stairs once they realized the elevator would not be an option, without complaining. And the prices were even very reasonable for a 6 hour move! (Just under $1,000, though I reduced the cost my supplying all my own packing materials.)

The nicest movers possible, Alexis, Teddy, and Ian. We have never used a moving company before, and feared moving yet again. They were very careful with everything and wrapped up everything very thoroughly. We have a lot of stuff, a big record collection, multiple heavy keyboards and musical instruments, tons of books, cds, and dvds, along with all the usual stuff that comes with an average human living situation. So we were very grateful for the amazing help of these friendly guys at NorthStar. Thank you!
