We were very happy with the service that Northstar provided us. Jimmy and Robert were our movers, and arrived right on time. Our move went smoothly, and none of our belongings were damaged. Both movers wore masks and gloves, since we moved during Covid. My husband and I helped the entire time, so things went pretty smoothly. The move turned out to be about 5 hours, and the total cost was right about $500, which I think was very reasonable for a move approximately 5 miles away. Thank you, Northstar

First CLASS from start to finish.I was scheduled with a different moving company who cancelled on me literally 18hrs before the move.Thank goodness for Yelp & NorthStar.I called last minute & spoke with a very kind lady name Gabbi who got me back on schedule for my move which was scheduled the following day.She took my info, emailed me some paperwork to sign & confirm & the next morning my moving crew,Austin,DeonTRE and Bryce showed up with mask,gloves and hand sanitizer, on time with a truck ready to move my things out of my storage facility. I even received a phone call letting me know they would arrive at the storage facility in 1hr.They worked well together, very organized, lots of communication & loaded the truck quickly.I was totally impressed.Nothing was dropped, broken nor scratched.I had nothing to assemble but they did ask.They even found & fixed my broken wheel on a box that the previous movers broke & I thought was lost 🙂 They were patient with me while I directed them where I wanted everything & didn’t complain at all when I changed my mind a couple of times 🙂 Thanks guys you were truly awesome & the move was a great. Their prices were very fair/reasonable & actually better than the previous moving company who stood me up. Moving sucks and moving with two days notice like my husband and I found ourselves needing to REALLY sucks. We hired NorthStar to pack and move our whole home in a day and they were AWESOME. Our four man crew, lead by Nicolas, got the whole job done in four hours. FOUR. We were prepared to all day. All of our stuff arrived to the new place safely and in good condition, no scratches to the floors or walls. I hope I don’t have to move again soon, but if I do, I know exactly who I’m calling to take care of me. Thank you so much NorthStar!

Even though we got a truck 5 ft too short for the size of our move these guys got 98% of it in and did it safely efficiently with no damage. We would highly recommend them for your move in or out of San Francisco.

I recently used Northstar to move from Foster City to San Francisco and can say that without a doubt, these were the best movers Ive ever used. First, getting the estimate and move scheduled was a breeze and I was given a detailed description of what to expect. When I had follow up questions to some of the emails I received, both Beatriz and Michael were helpful and professional. I had such a bad experience with the last moving company (which shall not be named), that Michael had to touch base with me several times just to reassure me that they would exceed my expectations, and they did!

Day of move they called me at the designated check in time, and the truck and movers arrived ready to go. After some quick paperwork the team of 3 (Carlos, Felipe, and Anselmo) worked diligently to load the truck and coordinate with my wife and I, and just flat out get things done. They then loaded the truck carefully with a townhome worth of stuff in ~2.5 hrs! The entire move was done in 5.5 hrs with the double time for driving (CA law by the way). I wasn’t ecstatic about the up charge in supplies (60 for tape and a couple of boxes), but other than that these guys were awesome!

I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs to move and wants things done right the first time(so everyone). I will be using them exclusively to move going forward. Big thanks to all mentioned, but a special thanks goes out to the movers Carlos, Felipe, and Anselmo. Thanks guys!!

We did our move the day after new years. The guys were on time, quick and careful. They also helped us assemble our furniture after we got to the new place. For the price and quality of the move, my fiancee and i were both very happy They honored our voucher from yelp and also gave us 3% discount for paying cash. Would definitely use the again if I moved in the bay or elsewhere

I was very impressed with the service from North Star moving! Kyle, Austin, Anthony, Red were my movers and they were awesome! They arrived right on time, and moved my items in a timely manner. They were very safe with all my items and I had no damage at all! They were the friendliest staff and made my move so seamless and easy.

My husband and I recently moved out of our fourth floor apartment into a single family home. Our apartment was two levels and the farthest from the elevator! We knew we were going to need professional movers. We asked for recommendations from our neighbors and North Star cam highly recommended. The booking process was very simple and they even offered to come and do an estimate before we moved. Communication throughout the process was perfect. When the day finally came we were pleasantly surprised to meet Brandon and his team of two other guys. From the minute they arrived they were pleasant, hard working, and efficient. Brandon even gave tips as we finished packing the last few boxes. At one point I was trying to move something and Brandon told me he would get it and not to worry about a thing! Moving is not fun at all but Brandon and his team made it the best it could be! I recommend them for your next move.

NorthStar was super easy to work with.The guys that helped with our move were super careful and worked really hard. We have a lot of stairs that aren’t easy to navigate, and they did it safely and efficiently.

I’ve always done moving myself and with a few friends but with all the stuff I’ve accumulated, I needed to get movers. I told my boyfriend about Northstar when he was moving and saw how great they were so I used them for myself. I was super impressed and happy with how fast they were able to pack up everything in my one bedroom apartment. I had a lot of loose items that I just couldn’t put into boxes so the team had packed them all up for me. Carlito was super communicative and upfront about everything.
