Love our guy Steven, Michael and Moses. They worked so hard in a hot day and treated us with such respect. I feel bad everytime when they need to use the bathroom they would need to get permission. But I guess that the company’s regulation.
Items are packed nicely and treated with care. Small scratches on one of the heavy item as the stairs down is
really narrow. I witnessed them struggled to move it down. And Steven ensured us with all the claims and insurance. We are satisfy with that.
I just wish the delivery team is as efficient as this LA team here * finger crossed!!

First time to use North Star Movers and we were not disappointed! Andy, Jonathan, and Oscar from the Irvine location were all very nice and very professional. They worked very fast but very carefully as well. No dents on any of our stuff at all. Furniture arrived the same way they left and no piece was missing. These guys have a great working attitude and we didn’t hear any complaints despite moving in this sweltering heat. They did an awesome job and made the move easy for us! I’m hoping we don’t have to move for a while but if we do, we’ll definitely go with North Star again!
The Irvine Team (team leader Bryant A. with Jonathan A. and Nick F.) completed our move from DTLA to Alhambra yesterday and we couldn’t be happier! Bryant gave us courtesy calls with an ETA before arriving at each apartment and showed up on time and ready to go. The team did walk throughs at each location to get an idea of where bigger items would be moved from/to. Nick disassembled and reassembled larger furniture pieces (bed frames, dining room table) which was a huge help for us as clients. Bryant offered wardrobe boxes (at no extra cost!) for miscellaneous items- really easy to toss belongings in and simply unpack at our new apartment before the guys left. Jonathan did an awesome job ensuring all our furniture was wrapped and protected for the move, and he kept the team’s energy high with classic rock tunes. They protected our items so well they even placed a large (and kind of delicate) painting in the cab with them! were polite and friendly throughout the day, and closing the contract was a breeze. We will definitely be using NorthStar- and hopefully the Irvine Team- for future moves!

Another excellent move by NorthStar. Thomas and his crew, Pedro, and Marcos were awesome! Near one the hottest days of the year and they barely stopped for water. They also finished in about 30% less time than I had estimated/budgeted which is great for obvious reasons.

Highly recommend North Star. They were great from beginning to end. We asked for estimates from several moving companies. North Star’s quote was very competitive. Their customer service (Paula) was great answering our questions and getting us read our for the move.
On moving day, our team arrived on time and got to work right away. Edgar, Noah, and Jose were friendly and worked incredibly fast and efficiently. They took care to wrap and secure our furtiture well.
They also provided wardrobe boxes for our hanging clothes. The only problem was that the person who packed the truck forgot to include enough bars for the wardrobe boxes. Edgar was able to make a make-shift bar from packing tape though that did the trick.
We were happy with North Star Andrew would definitely use them again.

Jorge J and his crew just pulled away with all of my belongings, fantastic experience! They called me 30 minutes in advance, arrived on time, were very careful with my items, AND they were FAST! They were here less than an hour and now I can relax the rest of the day! Jorge was very clear with me and gave me step by step explanations to how the move works. I’m moving out of state and he was really helpful in explaining this to me. I had a very positive experience from the beginning when Alan came to give me my in home estimate. Northstar moving company of Irvine was a dream to work with!!! Deon,Andy and Brian worked so hard in the blazing heat to move our family into our very first home. We were very impressed with their fun personalities even in the heat they kept their spirits high. They were very professional and took excellent care of all our furniture pieces. Each piece was wrapped perfectly to prevent damages and they made it look easy even as they moved our washer and dryers up two flights of stairs!! I would highly recommend them to anyone who will listen to me .

Let me start off by saying I had a pleasurable experience. Thank you, Edwin, Marcos and Hector for putting me at ease during this nightmare. My 2nd level town home was flooded due to a faulty sensor on the washer and they moved my Curved TV, heavy Sectional and Table so the workers can come and do the repairs. No damage and 100% professional totally recommend this team.

Thanks to great services of William P, Jorge L and Alfredo, they were in and out of our old apartment way sooner than expected. Everything went super smooth and the crews were very friendly. This is our second time using NorthStar, and we will definitely call them again next time we move!!
Very smooth and positive experience. A crew of 3 called half an hour before arrival, which was nice, and then loaded in my 2 bed then my partner’s 1 bed at a different location – then got everything into our new place without issue. Watching them work, I realized that it was laughable to think I could’ve moved all that myself in less than about 14 hours (no joke).

These guys are awesome! They took what I thought would be a hard job, and made it look easy. Without a doubt, it was not. I had 10 very large and heavy boxes, that they made very short work of moving from point A to point B. Very easy to work with. They use their time very efficiently. Fully staffed when they arrived on-site. I have used NorthStar Movers several times now, and have yet to be disappointed by any aspect of their service. I will more than likely use them for moves in the future, and would recommend to all of my friends.
Movers team gave a courtesy call at 8:00am arrived promptly at 8:30am. Anthony, Emanuel, and Jason were fast, professional, and friendly. We were a little worried about moving all our furniture across town but they had everything packed safely and ready to go by 11:00. The entire move was over by 12! Not a single scratch on any piece of furniture and they even got our clothes in the closets. Usually I’d just call a couple friends over and we’d move it over the course of an entire day and eat a pizza afterwards, but now I just get to keep the pizza for myself.
Great experience from start to finish, showed up on time, great communications throughout and best of all dealt with the issues that came up with a smile on their faces! In the pick up location there was a flight of stairs but that did not stop the crew from getting all my boxes and furniture out in a fast but safe manner. We did a walk through at the beginning and at the end to make sure everything was great. At my delivery location we had some inconveniences with the parking but they quickly figured that situation and my unloading part of the move went just great! I will surely call this guys again if i have to move next time! Great job guys!
I have used Northstart for the third time this time, moving from LA to Long Beach. The service was quick, professional and courteous and they were equipped with all packing supplies needed. I got a truck and a crew of three: Deon, Andy, Isaiah. All very friendly and very fast and effectively. I would definitely recommend them and use them in my next move.
