Although everyone involved in my move from first communication to the actual day of move earned all 5-stars, this review mostly goes out to the moving team I worked with, Jay and Alex. These guys had my studio amount of belongs moved out my my 3rd story apartment (no there wasn’t elevator) in North Scottsdale, drove across the valley to Surprise, and unloaded me within three hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These guys treated my furniture (even some old beat up pieces) like gold, not once did I worry about the handling of any of my belongings and would DEFINITELY recommend and hire NorthStar in the future…and probably request this team again since I KNOW they are going to do a great job.
So, with all my rave about NorthStar, I did want to mention I reached out to about 5 other moving companies (you never know if someone is booked, shopping around is always a smart idea, and I like to get a vibe for their customer service). Without mentioning the other company names, some were simply booked and not an option, others were too expensive but had really good response times and customer service, but out side of my price range for a 2-man moving team ($89-130/hr for a 2 man team), also many companies would have a transportation fee of $80+ on top of their hourly fee and minimums. I’ve worked with two other moving companies in another state so taking my past experience I KNOW that the truck/transportation fee does not mean a better service or experience, personally, I find that fee unnecessary and won’t work with someone that has one.
Don’t hesitate guys. If NorthStar is available you won’t regret working with them and all the headaches of loading and unloading your move become nonexistent.

These guys are great! Very professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone moving. They made moving super fast and easy! Everything made it in perfect condition and they put back together all of the furniture they had to take apart.

Great move, fast and seamless. We highly recommend NorthStar team (Jesse, Mario, Christopher, and Joey). We will absolutely use the team and company again. We started our move in the morning, the team showed up on time, worked hard and efficiently, arranged everything at our new place, setup furniture, and installed equipment.

North star helped us move back. Batches was awesome and crew helpful. Went slow which was perfect as nothin got damaged. They also helped us carry 500lbs marble table top in home.

This is our 3rd cross-country move with NorthStar. Loniail, Larry, and Leeca took care of our pickup yesterday and of course, their level of customer service was top notch. Very thorough and professional. Also wanted to give a shout out to Julie Traurig, who was our rep last time as well.
Jay, Alex, Victor and Lupe…These guys are OUTSTANDING. I used them to move me from a single story home to a 3 story condo. I have a lot of very heavy furniture and they moved it without batting an eye. They where prompt, fast and courteous. They will definitely get my business again, if I ever need movers AGAIN.
Vatche, Abraham, Jonathan and Ruben were incredible! They came and moved us into our home in record time! Did a great job and even managed to move our amazing cabin bed for our daughter without a scratch! Thank goodness for professional guys like these!
This is another good experience that we had with North Star movers. The guys showed up early in the morning, moving in super speed packing and loading. We didn’t expect them to go over to the second location and picked up the other futures that fast. They just won’t stop until it’s all finished. They also helped to install some futures.

I would like to update my review because even though the things I mentioned in my previous review were an inconvenience, Northstar reached out to me to sincerely apologize and explain that that’s not how they usually conduct their business. They went out of their way to make it right with me and I understand that from their other reviews they really are a reliable company and they do great work. Everyone makes mistakes and I would definitely give them another try next time I move because I can see that they truly care about their customers.

Big thanks to Kevin P., Kevin C., and Deon!!! Give these guys a raise! These guys moved my apartment from Van Nuys (Los Angeles) to Rialto (San Bernardino). They were professional, careful, and fast! I’ve used Los Angeles movers in the past, but had never experienced the quality service like NorthStar. They send their Project Manage out to your home to estimate how much your move would cost. The Project manager then explains that the amount quoted is not to exceed on the day of move in. PERFECT! I appreciated knowing in advance how much to prepare for. The guys were so efficient with time that they finished a lot sooner than expected….which saved me money 🙂

Northstar was amazing! The movers were professional and careful with my belongings. They got the job done in a short amount of time. Overall the company was organized and super easy to work with. I will definitely use them for any other moves I have in the future.

No words can ever describe how thankful I am for those guys. Having moved 5 times in the past 2 years, I was so stressed and those guys made sure I sat down and watch them do their magic. They work so great together and never really wasted a single minute. When there was an issue with the route to my new place Jonathan handled it very professionally even though it was his first day!

Kevin, Taj, and Brian helped me move today. They were on time, courteous, professional, and did an amazing job! They took care of my belongings as if they were their own.
