Hello my name is Johan and I am standing here in beautiful Bel-Air and I just had NorthStar Moving here all day and they have been extremely efficient. They were actually were supposed to just pack everything, but right now everything is empty and it’s 4 o’clock in the afternoon but I know they said that I am working with the best team and I must say they are extremely efficient and fantastic guys to work with.
I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how much I appreciate how painless you and Northstar made both our commercial and residential move from California to Minnesota. Hi my name is Art and live in Las Vegas, Nevada, just moving here from Los Angeles. I had a home in Los Angeles. I had the moving company, NorthStar Moving move for me and they did a great job, an incredible job, in fact my wife has been commenting on all morning on what kind of great packing job they did and far as the unloading goes with Noel, Jesus and Rodolfo, it was just great. Truly in a scale to one to ten as I was talking to Noel, he said did we do a good job? And I said to a scale to one to ten, you did an eleven and I mean that with great sincerity. So I couldn’t ask for more and I guess the more I can ask for is that the next time I move, I am using these folks. I hope that you have as good an experience as I’ve had. Thank you.
Northstar was very professional and courteous. Ran and staff did an excellent job unloading the furniture (1 bedroom set in under an hour and half). The delivery time line provided was anywhere from 1 – 5 days, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive delivery of my furniture on the 3rd day. That said, the weight of my 1 bedroom set didn’t include a refrigerator, couch, or kitchen table and the total weight was over 2,000 lbs. All in all, the customer service was top notch and I would definitely use their services again. Thank you
I have moved all over the place: Chicago to London back to Chicago back to London to Los Angeles and finally, most recently, back to Chicago again. I have had some terrible moving experiences so I was nervous about my latest cross country move. NorthStar was excellent! Every step of the process was easy and we communicated often. Although their quote was slightly higher than some other companies, they were willing to negotiate and had the highest (and well deserved) BBB ratings. The movers in LA were early and had my two bedroom apartment loaded within 2 hours. They packed my kitchen including all my dishes and crystal. Delivery was easy and the guys fabulous! Everything arrived perfectly (no breakage) within the delivery window that they confirmed. I received follow-up customer services calls after both pick-up and delivery. All the people involved with this move did an excellent job. I will absolutely use them again.
I have the pleasure to address this letter of appreciation and recommendation for a very special person, Mr. Gadi M. Avigzer, of NorthStar Moving Corporation, in Los Angeles, where I was the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey until very recently.
It is not often I perform such a task, as I believe that a letter of appreciation and/or recommendation is a very serious matter. I would write one, only when I am convinced that ht person in reference has the right stuff and absolutely earns and deserves it. Without hesitation, I would consider this to be such a case.
After trusting to Mr. Avigzer, the special packaging, sensitive handling and overseas, as well as inland transportation of the museumlike quality, highly valuable objects and goods from The Turkish Consulate in Los Angeles to all the way in Istanbul, Turkey (also some to Boston) and receiving them all intact; and, previously to that, after observing for days, the exemplary way he demonstrated his superior management and leadership abilities during the sorting and packing of over 150 boxes of paintings, very delicate glass, silver and porcelain antiques and other delicate, very fragile times, my reasons to have such a highly positive opinion for this gentleman, are the following:
This well traveled, very articulate young man’s leadership qualities, analytical skills and ability to grasp new ideas and novel projects are well developed and I am confident that he will demonstrate constructive, as well as result oriented behavior when confronted with problems and even highly complex matters, conducive to resolution. He possesses the traits of persistence, efficiency and motivation to the fullest extend and I have pleasantly observed that these qualities of his are always accompanied with extreme courtesy, good spirits, cheerful attitude, very positive approach and a good sense of humor.

The purpose of this letter is to commend your employees. In May, 2008, I contracted with Northstar to move my belongings from my home in Pacific Palisades, California to Portland, Oregon. I worked with Ron Cohen, the relocation specialist. He was friendly, helpful, and very professional. Everytime I had a question or concern, he always addressed it honestly and promptly. I was always satisfied with the outcome. He is an asset to the company.
On Friday, July 18, 2008, four men, Gil, Scott, Luis and Miguel arrived to load my boxes and furniture onto the truck. They, also, were friendly, helpful and professional. They worked hard and efficiently securing my furniture with blankets, undoing tables, and carefully wrapping the individual parts. I was given small pieces such as keys or tassles to wrap and take personally. I had not considered these and they certainly would have been lost or destroyed had I not been given them. I was thoroughly satisfied as everything arrived in good shape. They did an exemplary job.
Belle, in the office, and the different dispatchers with whom I needed to speak were also so helpful and kind.
