These guys were great – showed up on time, worked their butts off, really courteous and careful with our stuff, and finished with time to spare. Their truck and equipment was new and in great shape, and they seemed trustworthy. Would highly recommend to others, and will use them again.

We had such a wonderful move with Northstar – I will never move myself again!! Ilan came out to give us an estimate – he was extremely professional and friendly, and got RIGHT to business. His laptop wasn’t connecting to our internet, so he gave us a rough estimate, telling me he’d send an updated one once he got back to his office. He was extremely prompt with the final estimate, quoting us $100 less than he had in person. At $680, I decided to go for it. (Make sure to use their Yelp coupon – $50 for $100). We moved our 1BD apartment (with a LOT of stuff) in Brentwood to a 2BD apartment in Studio City. The 3 guys who showed up worked EXTREMELY fast and were SO FRIENDLY. We were so pleased, and will definitely use them for our next move. It was the first time we’d ever hired a company to move us, and I will never move myself again. They arrived right at 8pm, and we were completely in our new place by 12:30pm… AMAZING!

From my first contact with Ted to book the move, through the actual moving process with three very efficient and friendly movers, I was a happy camper. They showed up on time and ready to go! I had two pick up locations and they were happy to accommodate this and also very transparent with their billing guidelines which i greatly appreciated. I will definitely recommend NorthStar Moving to anyone I know planning a move! The service was flawless and their price quoting was also quite accurate which was helpful for my budget. Northstar movers were great ! Three guys so fast and worth every penny !! What a deal .. Would have taken me 10 friends four trucks and double what I paid northstar in food , beer and gas only took three guys , three hours .. Wow they were great , best money I’ve spent in a while ..

Nothing negative to say about my experience.  Over the phone, Jason was accommodating and interested in helping me find the best deal.  Their hourly rate was a bit higher than other places I called, but since they send over 3 guys, they were quick and efficient and finished the job (moving from SF to Berkeley) in 3 hours.  I in on no way felt like I was roped into hidden costs and all three of the movers they sent over were respectful and kind.  Use them!

A pleasure to work with this fine company. I needed some movers to just move furniture into my garage and my family room since my home was undergoing major renovation. I had a water damage and needed the furniture removed and they were on time, pleasant and very helpful. I plan to use them again to put everything back together. They were very careful about securing everything and making sure ecvrything was done correctly.

I made my appointment with Diana, and she was very friendly and got me set up. Even sent an email confirmation and touched base right before the big day.They guys arrived five minutes EARLY and were all ready to go. They were really nice and considerate with all my stuff. They worked really well together and managed their time perfectly (I was a little worried about running over my appointment, but it was a non issue). 

Definitely buy the $50 yelp deal – it was a huge draw for me to use the company and they were worth it (and affordable!). My move was hassle-free, especially since I didn’t have to beg/bribe all my cousins to help move my stuff this time, lol. The guys finished the move by lunchtime and I had the rest of the day to unpack

Wonderful moving experience — really nice, hard-working guys. Accommodated my daughter’s move on a Sunday and on very short notice. I dealt with Ted over the phone who was super honest and professional. We’ve used many movers over the years — these guys are the best.

We can’t say enough great things about NorthStar moving! Everyone was very professional and helpful. Elon came out to our home to provide a not to exceed estimate. He also suggested that we purchase the yelp coupon. Between the NTE and the coupon we saved over $500! Elon also made suggestions on other ways we could save on materials and items we could move on our own. The movers showed up on time and carefully moved all of our items with out a scratch (let a long major damage). We highly recommend NorthStar.
