I’ve never used a moving company before, always stuck to a U-Haul, but the last time I moved, I scratched my grandmother’s furniture, so when I was moving from the SFV to Camarillo, I decided to use movers. They called me the Friday before, to confirm. I had a two hour window that they would arrive, between 8 and 10 am, and they showed up promptly at 8:15. (Not even the cable guys can do that!)
3 guys, all very nice, and FAST. Did not take a break, and all in all the move was less than 3 hours. That included moving my HEAVY furniture from the 2nd floor apartment to the truck, drive time (1/2 hour) and unloading at the new place. I highly recommend NorthStar. VERY VERY professional.
