These guys made moving hassle free! They were prompt – early actually. We weren’t moving a lot of big furniture but had lots of small/medium boxes. It seemed like no time everything was in the truck and we were on our way. They were even faster once we got to the new place. They set the bed back up where we wanted it. I highly recommend and do the yelp deal.

i highly recommend hiring a moving company in general rather than doing it yourself. if you consider the cost of renting a truck, getting helpers, your time, the backaches….it’s well worth it. these guys were great. they brought literally all of their own supplies, wrapped up our furniture in bubble wrap and blankets in no time, and moved extremely quickly. one concern i had was since they charge by the hour, they’ll take their time to rack up the time. they finished our move so quickly that my wife and i decided to give them a little extra cash. it was great because all we had to do is direct where to put each box. i also recommended them to a good friend of mine who also had a good experience. i just don’t think he’s much of a reviewer.

These guys are fabulous. I hired them to get me from Sherman Oaks to Venice, and I was blown away by the professionalism and quickness with which they treated me. I have used NorthStar twice now and have been very happy each time. The entire booking process was very smooth and the customer service was great. They even provided a discount for being a return customer! On moving day, the movers were prompt and very friendly. They quickly (yet carefully) prepared our furniture for transporting and did not damage a single thing. The move was very efficient and could not have been better! I highly recommend NorthStar! Tip: if you have old furniture you’d like to get rid of NorthStar will gladly take it to their warehouse after the move for donation.

I did a lot of research before I went with NorthStar, and I’m so pleased that I found reliable movers that were actually reasonably priced. They just helped me move from LA to San Diego, and it could not have gone more smoothly. The two guys (Ezequiel and Erwin, I believe) were very friendly, professional, and speedy yet careful. They were right on time, and took *really* great care of all of my furniture + a couple very large mirrors. I had packed all the boxes myself, and they wrapped everything else so it would be protected well. Not a single thing was broken or even slightly damaged 🙂 They worked so quickly and efficiently that (along with the great Yelp coupon) the whole move ended up costing less than I had anticipated – which is always a nice surprise! I would recommend this moving company, for sure.
