All the important information we needed to know was given to us when we booked and then again later when they confirmed. No hidden charges. No over charges. A great service – at a great price. My husband and I highly recommend them.
This letter is to tell you what a great moving crew you have. We’re sure you all ready know that, but we like to give credit where it’s due, and your guys are fantastic.
We’ve posted on both Yelp and the Better Business Bureau sites, but we were so impressed with every step of the process that we thought a formal letter sent snail mail was appropriate. From the initial call, to the confirmation, to the move itself, we couldn’t be more pleased with your company and your staff. Your movers deserve special praise. They showed up on time and were as professional, efficient and hardworking as could be possible.

I moved from West LA to Hancock Park in less than 3 hours and 6 rolls of their tape. And, they were early for an 8-10 am window! Wow.
I haven’t unpacked everything so I’ll let you know if anything’s broken. 😉
My ONE (and only) concern is that they dropped my (expired) passport in my hallway. I found this out when my old landlord called me to come pick it up. This doesn’t bring down my 5 star review, because I like to leave room for a little human error. 🙂
I found NorthStar Moving on Yelp and they had some pretty good reviews. I called them, basically last minute but they were able to set up an appointment for me right away. They gave me a 2 hour window to expect the movers but Guy Hacyma and his team were there right on time. They’re paid hourly but it didn’t seem like it. They packed everything I didn’t (big stuff) and got it in the truck in no time. When they were done unpacking, I was surprised “you even put the bed back together?” They had it all done in less than 3 hours.
The rep during set up is courteous and explain everything in detail. After the move, Guy was the same – courteous, friendly, and most importantly organized. He explained everything and took payment right there. Very convenient!
