Amazing customer service! I was so stressed out about moving but they went above and beyond to make sure it went as smoothly as possible.

I didn’t have much time to figure out how I was going to move out of a 2-bedroom into a 1-bedroom. About a week before our move-in date, I called NorthStar and spoke with Jackie, who seamlessly set up the move for me. She also encouraged me to buy the Yelp deal so that I could save some money.

When there was a mix-up with the new landlord about when we could receive our keys, I called Jackie to change the moving day and she quickly sent a confirmation email with the new date. 

When the condo’s building manager said he needed to see the moving company’s certificate of insurance 3 business days before the move was scheduled, I called Jackie again. Her co-worker Stefy ensured that all of the condo’s requirements were met and faxed the documentation to them by the next morning.

The movers were scheduled to arrive between 8 and 10. Jesus and his team showed up a little before 9am. They efficiently packed our TV and moved quickly, despite the building’s old, tiny elevator. Everything was in their truck in less than an hour and a half. They managed to move everything into our new place in roughly an hour, and nothing was broken. All throughout the process, Jesus and his team did everything they could to ensure that moving was less stressful for me.

After the move, Jackie called to follow up and make sure that the movers had met our expectations (of course they did!). This was my first time not renting a U-Haul or cajoling some friend with a truck into helping me move, and I can honestly say that it was worth every penny to hire NorthStar to help with the move.
