Several weeks ago when we first looked into moving companies, we were apprehensive at best about moving companies. The thought of entrusting our personal belongings to complete strangers made use nervous. To ease our fears, we checked the rating of each mover on the Better Business Bureau web page. As Northstar had an A-rating, and offered one of the lowest prices, we reserved your services.
When the day of our move came (April 15), we were pleasantly surprised. Leil (spelling?), Antonio, and Omar were great. They were fast, efficient, and professional. Even though we only have a two-bedroom apartment, we were amazed at how fast the team worked.They had loaded, transported, and unloaded everything in less than three hours. And during the whole time, they were always willing to assist us and answer any questions we had.
We have several friends moving in the next few months, and we will definitely recommend Northstar. Though we are quite certain that the company is well run as whole, we request that you give some recognition to the wonderful service provided by Lei!, Antonio, and Omar.

I am writing this letter to tell you what an excellent job your company did in moving my son’s belongings from California to Illinois. The move took place on Sept. 26th from Hollywood and arrived safely to Prospect, IL several days later. EVERYTHING and I mean everything was executed as promised. First of all, Miral was excellent in mapping out the entire experience from the confirming the day before the move to the last item delivered by Moishe’s. It is so refreshing to know that there are still companies in America that are hard working and have integrity and deliver service as promised. I admit, I was not familiar with your company and was a little skeptical about using your services but I am so glad I went with my gut feeling after I had spoken to Miral. She was so professional, yet friendly and so very informative and helpful. There was not a question asked that she could not answer.
On the other hand, ALL the movers including the supervisors were all so courteous, helpful and hard working as well. They really went above and beyond what they needed to do. There was not one thing that arrived damaged and we are so very grateful for the entire experience. Please do not hesitate to use me as a recommendation, should you ever need one. In July of 2005, we searched high and low for a trustworthy company to move the owners in and out of a house we rented for our television reality show titled “7 Lives Xposed”. I would like to praise and thank Gadi and Northstar movers again for their excellent service to me. Gadi and Northstar moved my children several times and were highly recommended to them and thusly to me. After living in our home in Burbank for thirty years, I have been moved three times by Northstar in the last 1 1/2 years. Never was there a broken object, a scratch on a wall (all homes were two story) or any upsettness whatsoever. Quite the contrary, Gadi and his staff went above and beyond in helping me. Gadi made it all happen. He sent movers Gil, Jesus and another gentleman who would not let me lift a thing, much less help them. They put everything together that had been disassembled while in your storage care. They made sure the heavy items were placed where I wanted them, having to move them up or down stairs several times!!! (A woman’s prerogative to change her mind!!) Again, it was a hot day, we had no water and these movers were as pleasant and helpful as could be. They went out of their way to be sure I was comfortable with everything. This is totally unheard of today! Working with Gadi has indeed been a pleasure. He has again taken the worry away and made life during those hectic times, bearable and again, his added humor truly brightens my day!!! He always follows up after the move to be sure all went well and that life is good! Just last week I gave my dear friends who will be moving soon your information and again highly recommended your company. We recently used your company to move our retail store and distribution center
from West Hollywood, CA to Gardena, CA and I am writing this letter to thank your crew for the wonderful job they did. From the moment that I inquired to NorthStar regarding an estimate, we were treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. The gentleman who did our onsite estimate, Gadi M. Avigzer was extremely professional and very accommodating. He provided us a fair estimate and indicated that the price would in no way exceed the amount estimated. I contacted several different moving companies, and found an unbelievable amount of unprofessionalism and just downright lack of organization. I was so impressed with Gadi’s representation that we were confident in making the decision to hire NorthStar.
The crew arrived promptly at our West Hollywood location at the set time. They worked quickly and efficiently, taking no more than two hours to move the entire contents of our store into the trucks. Once we arrived at our new location, the unloading was even faster. Every single person working on that crew was diligent and helpful. We would especially like to extend our thanks to Ozan Kerem Ozdes, the foreman and Fontaine Segree whom we feel were absolutely vital in helping to keep things moving along at a smoothly. Both gentlemen were instrumental in this transition for us. On top of all this they were very personable and friendly as well, which helped to ease the worry on a particularly stressful day.

Before any more time goes by, my wife and I want to thank you again for the excellent moving job you arranged for us. My name is Marie Brown and I contracted with your moving company to move me on Sunday, May 15′ 2005. This crew was headed by Orcun (I’m not sure if this is the correct spelling of his name). The reason I write to you today is because I felt highly satisfied with the work they performed. First of all, the crew was punctual. It was an extremely hot day, but this did not stop them from working diligently. I had many items that were extremely fragile, and they handled everything with care. Orcun also had to wrap a couple of items for me and took the time to mark the boxes so that I knew what he had put in them. I felt this was above and beyond his job duties.

My first encounter with Gadi and North Star occurred several years ago when I worked for Angelina Jolie as her personal assistant. This particular move occurred during a time of personal stress for Ms. Jolie, and the tabloids were hovering around her house. At one point the paparazzi tried to bribe several of the North Star movers with a hefty amount of cash. Not only did the guys turn down the bribe, they promptly told the photographers what they could do with the money! With no other incentive other than professionalism, both Gadi and the crew did everything to ensure Ms. Jolie’s privacy during the subsequent two full days of packing and moving. And if that wasn’t enough, their skills at wrapping, packing and loading everything from large odd-shaped objects to fine china, was – and is – superb.
From that time on I have worked with Gadi and North Star on every move I’ve been involved with, both professional and personal. They approach every job with the same level of high-quality service no matter how “high profile” or “low profile” the client may be. Case in point: I didn’t think they would want to handle my little 2 bedroom apartment move after working with so many VIP’s, but that wasn’t true!
