In July of 2005, we searched high and low for a trustworthy company to move the owners in and out of a house we rented for our television reality show titled “7 Lives Xposed”. There was no question who would get the job done the best once we found Gadi Avigzer at NorthStar Moving Corporation. From the beginning, Gadi and the NorthStar staff was nothing but helpful in providing options that accommodated our tight budget, and service that was unmatchable.
Not only was Gadi available to talk to us any time we called, from the beginning he treated us like family and he made sure that all of our questions and concerns with the move were addressed immediately. I felt Gadi and the NorthStar staff were perfect for our project from start, and they proved that and more with both moves.

I would like to praise and thank Gadi and Northstar movers again for their excellent service to me. Gadi and Northstar moved my children several times and were highly recommended to them and thusly to me. After living in our home in Burbank for thirty years, I have been moved three times by Northstar in the last 1 1/2 years. Never was there a broken object, a scratch on a wall (all homes were two story) or any upsettness whatsoever. Quite the contrary, Gadi and his staff went above and beyond in helping me. Gadi made it all happen. He sent movers Gil, Jesus and another gentleman who would not let me lift a thing, much less help them. They put everything together that had been disassembled while in your storage care. They made sure the heavy items were placed where I wanted them, having to move them up or down stairs several times!!! (A woman’s prerogative to change her mind!!) Again, it was a hot day, we had no water and these movers were as pleasant and helpful as could be. They went out of their way to be sure I was comfortable with everything. This is totally unheard of today! Working with Gadi has indeed been a pleasure. He has again taken the worry away and made life during those hectic times, bearable and again, his added humor truly brightens my day!!! He always follows up after the move to be sure all went well and that life is good! Just last week I gave my dear friends who will be moving soon your information and again highly recommended your company. My kids, Dan and Nicki Cotti also recommend your company to many and ‘sing your praises’. They truly help families follow their dreams and make it happen. We recently used your company to move our retail store and distribution center
from West Hollywood, CA to Gardena, CA and I am writing this letter to thank your crew for the wonderful job they did. From the moment that I inquired to NorthStar regarding an estimate, we were treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. The gentleman who did our onsite estimate, Gadi M. Avigzer was extremely professional and very accommodating. He provided us a fair estimate and indicated that the price would in no way exceed the amount estimated. I contacted several different moving companies, and found an unbelievable amount of unprofessionalism and just downright lack of organization. I was so impressed with Gadi’s representation that we were confident in making the decision to hire NorthStar.
The crew arrived promptly at our West Hollywood location at the set time. They worked quickly and efficiently, taking no more than two hours to move the entire contents of our store into the trucks. Once we arrived at our new location, the unloading was even faster. Every single person working on that crew was diligent and helpful. We would especially like to extend our thanks to Ozan Kerem Ozdes, the foreman and Fontaine Segree whom we feel were absolutely vital in helping to keep things moving along at a smoothly. Both gentlemen were instrumental in this transition for us. It was their hard work which compelled us here at Splash Bath and Body to write NorthStar a letter and let you know how committed your employees are to ensuring that your customers receive the best service possible. On top of all this they were very personable and friendly as well, which helped to ease the worry on a particularly stressful day.
At the end of the day, our actual cost came well below the initial estimate to which we were very pleased to discover that not only had NorthStar provided us with excellent service but saved us money too! In the future should we need moving services, NorthStar is first on our list to contact without hesitation. It is not often that I take the time out of my busy schedule to write a company regarding the services they provided to me. However, I feel that the service I received from one of your crews deserves recognition.
My name is Marie Brown and I contracted with your moving company to move me on Sunday, May 15′ 2005. This crew was headed by Orcun (I’m not sure if this is the correct spelling of his name). The reason I write to you today is because I felt highly satisfied with the work they performed. First of all, the crew was punctual. It was an extremely hot day, but this did not stop them from working diligently. I had many items that were extremely fragile, and they handled everything with care. Orcun also had to wrap a couple of items for me and took the time to mark the boxes so that I knew what he had put in them. I felt this was above and beyond his job duties.

Not only did the guys turn down the bribe, they promptly told the photographers what they could do with the money! I paid $320 for a three man crew to move us into a 3rd floor apartment on Saturday, December 11th.
The three guys you sent out were beyond awesome. They worked like their shorts were on fire! Not once did I see any of the three stop or slow down. It was the most amazing effort I’ve ever seen. They emptied our two bedroom apartment in less than one hour and took painstaking care to package both of our televisions.
We inherited a 48″ tv that our “friends” didn’t want to move again for us. Two of these guys put the tv on a dolly and moved it to the 3rd floor without incident. They told us that they moved a piano during their morning move that day. That’s a heck of a lot of lifting for one day…these guys are really good workers.
They unloaded all of our things in an hour and a half and we made it under the 3 hour minimum. My husband and I were so relieved and happy that we chose NorthStar.
We filled out a request for moving quotes from the MoveCenter at www.Rent.com. We received 8 phone calls from moving companies.
