Just finishing up my 3rd time moving with NorthStar and they have done it again! Truly the most professional team from start to finish. The booking process is so easy and their communication is perfect. Moving sucks but they make it as stress-free as possible. Alex and his team arrived ON TIME and I couldn’t be happier with their service. They all treated my belongings as if they were their own and never missed a beat. My new place is up in the Hollywood Hills and I was a bit worried the big truck wouldn’t make it but they had no issues at all. So grateful!! 10/10 highly recommended for all of your moving jobs! This review is for the DTLA NorthStar Movers team. They helped us move into our new condo last weekend and I have to say, I was very impressed with this company! Everyone hates moving, but these guys made it as painless as possible. A huge shout out to Ian, who was the team leader and main point of contact during the move. Not only was he an excellent worker himself, he also managed the team during the entire move with great professionalism. These guys were efficient, polite, and worked extremely hard. Ian in particular paid attention to detail unlike any mover I have ever seen. For example, I had a cover underneath my bed floor at my old apartment and when we arrived to the new condo, he asked first if I wanted to put the same cover on the floor. I was Wowed by his care and concern. I also want to give a shout to to Cesar. He was the boss man calling from the office to give us an ETA on when the movers arrive. He also called me midway through the move to check and see how the guys were doing. Again, wowed again! Very professional and considerate of him to do that, and it was much appreciated by my fiancé and I. As with every move, some things did go wrong. However, the company worked with me after to resolve any damages and make sure everything was compensated and taken care of. As a customer, I do not expect perfection with something as stressful as a move. But what I do respect and appreciate is the willingness for a company to follow up and ensure that everything is taken care of, which is exactly what Northstar did. That is what sets them apart from your run-of-the-mill moving company. If you are looking for a moving company that you can trust, look no further. I would definitely use NorthStar again! North Star moving company was hands down the best moving company we have ever worked with. Alex’s crew was professional and fast and they helped us with all of our moving needs. They even worked around our babies nap schedule! I can’t recommend this company enough!

Really great service!! I’ve used them twice now. They are on time, efficient and so friendly and polite. It can be stressful moving especially during a pandemic but they made it all so easy.

I’ve moved a lot and honestly this was one of the smoothest moves possible! Both of our movers were super professional, very fast and extremely polite and helpful. They were also quick to think outside the box when it came to moving dilemmas and accommodating with our situation.

Great movers. We moved a 2 br within the city. They were fast, helpful when we didn’t have everything totally packed, very careful with masks and hand washing, and didn’t break a single thing. They were super nice. They also came in right in the middle of their estimated cost range. Couldn’t have asked for a better job. Highly recommend

This team is fantastic. I am often skeptical when it comes to hiring anyone to handling my belongings, especially when moving. I also only leave reviews when something is awful or epic – this was epic. Alex and his crew changed my total misconception about movers. I am a believer now and I will gladly hit them up again when it’s time for my next move. My partner and I moved from Northridge to Long Beach and there were zero issues. They arrived when they said they would and even gave me a courtesy call ahead of time. The hourly rate was exactly as promised and the attention to detail was unrivaled. They asked the right amount of questions to ensure they were organizing things the way I liked when packing and unpacking, but they were not annoying with constant questions – this team KNOWS what they are doing. They arrived at our new place much quicker than I anticipated (which is good news for me because every minute counts when you’re paying people by the hour. They don’t milk the time nor to they cut corners. Lastly, their general customer service and desire to help was top notch. They never assumed anything (they even asked to use our bathroom and didn’t just invite themselves to use it). The small things count. I could say a lot more and I’d give more stars if I could (cliche…I know…but it’s true) but you guys get the idea. Hire them. You won’t regret it.

It’s been a week since our move and we’re still talking about what a great job our NorthStar team did to make our move easy and painless. They showed up on time, and jumped in like masters. They carefully wrapped and packaged our furniture beyond anything we’ve seen before and safely transported to our new flat. That earns them 3 stars. But they get 5 stars for the heroic way they managed to squeeze our furniture through tiny doorways, around corners, and up stairs. Many times, it looked impossible but they found ways to get an extra inch here and there. They never gave up. Others would have taken the safe way, left our couch on the sidewalk and told us to buy a new one. Not our NorthStar team. They finished the job and saved us a lot of time and money. We highly recommend them! Totally worth every dollar.

So impressed with the entire team at NorthStar Moving. They were very patient and accommodating with us as our moving date kept shifting, and the move went flawlessly. Seriously best in class people from our rep to our packers to our movers. They went way above and beyond to make sure everything was put back together logically and conveniently. Pricing was reasonable and up-front. Absolutely nothing got broken or damaged. Great communication all around. Love these guys and would highly recommend to anyone.

Northstar are fantastic. I used their service for a one-bedroom move today. I could not have asked for better movers than Chase and Jesse from Northstar. They were knowledgable and professional in every way possible, and totally pleasant. They took the stress out of a potentially very stressful day. They were especially adept at dismantling are re-assembling large items of furniture. Rock and Roll Movers recommended Northstar when they were not available, and I’m glad I followed their recommendation. And yes, Chance & Jesse wore masks the entire time.
