I have used Northstar at least seven times in the last nine years. I have moved back and forth from Anaheim to the Valley over the last couple years and always call these people to help me with the transition. This last move on 7/30/09 was particularly good as I was very stressed out and unprepared. The crew showed up on time, (Guy Hacyma and his guys) were extremely helpful, professional, and fast. It was over before it started and I was all moved in to my new place without a hitch. Northstar always goes above and beyond when it comes to helping customers. I will never move anywhere without them!
Hi this is Patrick and NorthStar Moving did a wonderful job before moving. Guys showed up on time, a little bit early that was great, this will sound kind of funny but everyone was nicely dressed and nicely groomed, very professional looking and not look like your typical movers. Moved everything very quickly about half hour estimated, which was great and took care of all my furniture, wrapped it good, didn’t nickel and dime me. Didn’t charge me for a bunch of stuff I didn’t need. Everything was very professional and very well done. Really appreciate it. If I ever move again, definitely using NorthStar Moving.

The crew today has been really fabulous, they got here early at 8:30 this morning they worked until, gosh I don’t even know what time it is now. Quarter to 5. This was our first time hiring movers and we were a bit nervous. We checked with a few companies, but finally settled on NorthStar primarily because the price was right and the reviews were good. And we are so glad we did! The crew, Daniel, Arie and Elias were amazing! My boyfriend and I would definitely request the same crew for our next move. They were efficient, professional and hard working. They worked together well and got the job done very fast.
Also, the other companies we checked with made a big deal about the fact that the apartment we were moving out of was on the second floor with 3 flights of stairs and about 50 yards of sidewalk to the truck. But with NorthStar and this crew it didn’t even come up. There were no complaints or remarks, they just got the job done and were pleasant the whole time.
We would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I had 24 hours notice to move the entire contents from a model home in Los Feliz to another building in Korea Town. A friend had recommended Northstar to me once long ago, but hadn’t had a need for them until yesterday.
I called and was transferred to Ted as my rep, who was fantastic and extremely helpful. I expressed the urgency and he got me booked for 8AM this morning. Even though I was given a window of “8AM to 10AM,” knowing I was desperate my phone rang promptly at 8AM announcing the movers.
I was greeted by Ran, who is now my one and only mover. Again, RAN AND HIS CREW ARE AMAZING! Organized, motivated, and helpful, Ran made for me what could have been something overwhelming into an absolute breeze – he and his crew went far beyond the call of duty for me and I couldn’t be more appreciative of his efforts.
Overall pricing I thought was very fair considering we were transferring an entire household from one location to another, but the service itself was priceless.
If you want excellent service, expert and careful moving with a friendly, fun and helpful crew, call Northstar and ask for Ran and his crew – you can’t ask for better!
