Outstanding moving company, highly recommended! I’ve used NorthStar for two moves and both times were exceptional – first a local move within the Bay Area, and then a longer move from the Bay Area to Orange County.
For our 2nd move with NorthStar, big shout-out and thank you to John, the driver and team leader at both our pick-up and delivery locations. I was impressed by his professionalism, diligence, and attentiveness in treating our move as if it were his own. Him and his team made sure all our belongings and furniture were packed efficiently and securely. Delivery was super quick and took only two days. Everything arrived in excellent condition with no breakages or scratches.

We used this service for a cross country move. AZ to FL. Very easy to schedule. Very communicative via text, email and calling during the whole process- at the start until after delivery. I just moved from Fremont, CA, this month and Lotem put me in touch with John Honacher who came and did a firm estimate on my belongings. John is so professional, knowledgeable, and helpful to work with during my packing process to the final day of the move. Without John’s help I don’t think I could have gotten to Arizona! I would give John and his moving crew headed by Isael 10 Stars if possible. Israel and his guys were so helpful, efficient, careful, and kind. They made my moving day so much easier than I anticipated. I would use NorthStar Moving in the Bay Area again if I could. My auto correct changed Isael’s name! So sorry Isael!
Louis, George, Leeca performed efficiently loading my trailer for a move to Texas. I had a time limit of 3 hours and the move was complete less than that. Way to go team. Thank you for loading. Now we are off to unload. Wish North Star was in Texas. Also the team and team leader Louis were polite and exhibit good costumer service. 5 stars from me. Because I couldn’t have done it with them.
Had a really good experience with Northstar moving my mother from Southern California to Northern California last week. Kevin R, Jose G, and Irvin U were great to work with, very thorough and organized, and extremely polite. They arrived exactly when they said they would, packed everything very neatly and labeled all the boxes accurately. Kevin was great communicating next steps and kept in touch with me so I knew exactly when they were going to arrive and was very patient in setting the furniture exactly where I wanted it. Everything was so well packed, not a single thing was broken or scratched or in any way damaged, and this move included a number of pieces of artwork and ceramics. Could not be happier with this experience. Highly recommend these guys!
