My first encounter with Gadi and North Star occurred several years ago when I worked for Angelina Jolie as her personal assistant. This particular move occurred during a time of personal stress for Ms. Jolie, and the tabloids were hovering around her house. At one point the paparazzi tried to bribe several of the North Star movers with a hefty amount of cash. Not only did the guys turn down the bribe, they promptly told the photographers what they could do with the money! With no other incentive other than professionalism, both Gadi and the crew did everything to ensure Ms. Jolie’s privacy during the subsequent two full days of packing and moving. And if that wasn’t enough, their skills at wrapping, packing and loading everything from large odd-shaped objects to fine china, was – and is – superb.

I paid $320 for a three man crew to move us into a 3rd floor apartment on Saturday, December 11th.
The three guys you sent out were beyond awesome. They worked like their shorts were on fire! Not once did I see any of the three stop or slow down. It was the most amazing effort I’ve ever seen. They emptied our two bedroom apartment in less than one hour and took painstaking care to package both of our televisions.
We inherited a 48″ tv that our “friends” didn’t want to move again for us. Two of these guys put the tv on a dolly and moved it to the 3rd floor without incident. They told us that they moved a piano during their morning move that day. That’s a heck of a lot of lifting for one day…these guys are really good workers.
They unloaded all of our things in an hour and a half and we made it under the 3 hour minimum. My husband and I were so relieved and happy that we chose NorthStar.

I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with your company when it came to my move. I recently moved to Lancaster CA from Los Angeles. I had boxes and boxes of items and some things hadn’t even been packed yet. Your staff came and efficiently took over and made my move so much easier!! The 4 young men that arrived to pack our home were friendly and quick to go about their business of preparing, packing, wrapping, and loading all of our belongings. As you know, most of us who value sentimental and irreplaceable belongings are extremely skeptical when it comes to trusting movers. Something always goes wrong. If something doesn’t break, then surely the charges will break. .. the bank! At least that has been my experience time and time again. It seems impossible to find reliable and honest movers.
Even when the NorthStar customer service agent took my order with efficiency, promising me that your company was better than the others, I still had my doubts. I knew that somehow, something would go wrong. The only thing that did go wrong, however, was my preconceived notion that NorthStar would turn out to be like all the others. In fact, NorthStar hugely exceeded my every expectation.
Here are just a few of the things that NorthStar did throughout the move which changed my perspective and created a lasting impression:

Your company recently moved our household and we are writing to you to thank you and Northstar for the excellent job. It was a bit of a last minute assignment due to escrow problems but your company provided an excellent and fair quote. When the young men and trucks showed up (on time) they were pleasant, courteous and wonderful workers. We recently moved from Tujunga to our new house and once again used Moishe’s Moving. The first time we used your company, we had a last minute change of plans which most other moving companies would have been unable to handle. You, on the other hand, sent 2 trucks and extra crew and the job got done in an exceptional manner.
