Let’s Send Hunger Packing 2025

Our 13th annual “Let’s Send Hunger Packing” food drive for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank takes place from June 30th to August 31st, 2025. We are pleased to team up again with Compass Real Estate, but we need your help too!

In California, over 2 million children live in low-income households affected by hunger. When school is out for summer, many lose access to the daily meals they rely on. At the same time, food bank donations typically drop—putting even more pressure on already strained resources.

Our Los Angeles community is no stranger to hardship. From wildfires and rising living costs to immigration crackdowns, families are being pushed to the brink. Some are afraid to go to work. Others are choosing between rent and food. But through it all, Los Angeles shows up for each other.

That’s the power behind the Let’s Send Hunger Packing Food Drive. With just a click we can help our community. For less than the cost of one dinner out, you can provide 100 meals to a child in need.

The 13th annual Let’s Send Hunger Packing Food Drive is all online. All donations will directly assist the needs of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.

The facts:

  • 1 out of 4 children in Los Angeles will go to bed hungry tonight.
  • LA County is home to more food-insecure children than any other county in the U.S.
  • Every $1 equals 4 nutritious meals.
  • Every $25 donated provides enough food for up to 100 meals to feed hungry children, seniors and families.
  • The LA Food Bank distributes approximately 4 million pounds of food each week, which has quadrupled since 2020.

Will it make a difference? 

Yes! Last year’s food drive raised $19,259 for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, providing 77,036 meals to feed hungry children in Los Angeles County. Thanks to your support over the last 12 years we’ve provided 819,000 meals. We are grateful for all your help. We need your support again this year. Together, we can feed even more kids!
