My Stuff Bags Foundation

The My Stuff Bags Foundation’s is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that provides a bag filled with new belongings to each of the nearly 300,000 children each year who are rescued from abuse, neglect, abandonment, and homelessness across the United States and enter crisis shelters and foster care with nothing of their own.

Each My Stuff Bag Contains: Clothing, toys, a stuffed animal, school supplies, toiletries, and a warm “security” blanket (often handmade from people all across the country).

Since 1998, they have distributed My Stuff Bags to over 485,000 children through over 1,400 agency partners. Because the items in a My Stuff Bag are donated by people all across the country and the bags are stuffed by volunteers, it sends children the message that “many people care about you.”
