Our hearts are with everyone impacted by the recent fires here in LA, our hometown. It’s heartbreaking to see the loss and devastation, but at the same time, it’s so heartwarming to witness the incredible kindness, bravery and love pouring out from our community.
From firefighters risking it all to neighbors lending a hand, LA’s true spirit is shining through. Our movers bring the muscle, but LA’s resilience brings the heart. Through fire and recovery, together we rise stronger. Over the years, NorthStar Moving has stood by the community in times of disaster, and we’re grateful to use our resources to help once again.
Moving Kindness Forward: Transporting Donations for Non-Profits
If you are a non-profit that could use help delivering donations, please send us a direct message @NorthStarMoving. We are offering our moving trucks and drivers to transport large donations and essential goods to assist LA fire victims.
LISC Los Angeles asked us to transport youth baseball cleats & other donated items in preparation for their April 26, 2025 event “DENA Giveback event” with CityBoyz Givebacks & DICK’S Sporting Goods which supported families impacted by the Eaton Fire in Altadena, Pasadena and nearby communities. The Consulate General of Israel in Los Angeles held an event on March 8, 2025 in which they distributed bags to Altadena and Pasadena community members affected by the LA Fires. A NSM team was there to help.

On January 13th, 2025, we picked up about 40 boxes full of lunch bags from the Consulate General of Israel in Los Angeles to be delivered to Greater LA fire departments for LA wildfire first responders and firefighters. Here are some photos:
